Food Bank Open

Out of an abundance of caution regarding covid-19, and concern for volunteers and those we serve, we have a modified, curb-side/drive-up distribution of non-perishable food supplies.

Since the majority of our volunteers are in higher-risk categories, we must respond to the covid-19 situation with added care. Thank you for your understanding.

Want to make a donation of non-perishable food items? There are bins outside the front door that are emptied throughout each day.

Kenmore’s Food Bank is hosted by Northshore Church (18737 68th Ave NE). All those in need are welcomed 6:00-7:00, on Monday evenings.

There are currently two specific, volunteer needs:

  • Pick up produce every Monday afternoon and deliver it to Northshore for our Monday distribution. The volunteer must have a vehicle large enough to handle 8-10 boxes (pick up, van, SUV or large trunk).
  • Adult volunteers to help with distribution one Monday evening each month, 5:00-7:30.

Food items that are most useful include:

  • Canned Vegetables & Fruits
  • Soup
  • Top Ramen
  • Juices
  • Cereal & Oatmeal
  • Canned Meats (tuna, chicken)
  • Peanut Butter & Jam
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Chili
  • Pasta & Sauce
  • Beans
  • Boxed or Pouch Potatoes
  • Cookies
  • Gluten Free Items

Please do not donate opened packages or long-expired items.

Donation of non-perishable food items are gratefully received during regular business hours and Sunday mornings.
